Lake Tour

Day 1 - Arrival In Ulaanbaatar 55km

Meeting your guide and drive to the city you will visit Gandan monastery, this day you will also see the National history museum of Mongolia, and a Central square. At the overnight you better be relaxing at the hotel to be prepared for long distance travel of Mongolian steppe. (L/D)

Day 2 – Khustai National Park 90km

After breakfast you will drive to the Khustai National Park. After lunch you will see the equestrian show of Mongol warriors of antient time. And then visit the Khustai information center, where to see also the documentary about wild horses and then go to the park to see the Takhi, named also Przewalski horses. (B/L/D)

Day 3 – Kharkorum antique Capital of the Mongol Empire – 280km

Nowadays Kharkorin Sum of the Uvurkhangai province, but it is there where our Khaan’s decided to build the Capital of the Mongol Empire in the Orkhon river Walley. After breakfast drive to Karakorum visit Karakorum Museum and Erdene-Zuu Monastery. Dinner and overnight stay in a Ger camp. (B/L/D)

Day 4 - Tsenkher Hot Spring – 115km

Did you get your swimming costume? Because you will drive to the Tsenkher hot spring. Tsenkher Hot Spring is the second hottest spring of Mongolia after Shargaljuut spring. Heat of the water reaches 86 celsius degree. It is an alkaline spring that contains hydrosulfuric acid and silica union and used for medical treatment. Walking around the camp, and relax in the nature. (B/L/D)

Day 5 - Khorgo Terkh National Park – 215km

Have breakfast and head towards Khorgo Terkh. Khorgo was a volcano that erupted twice 9 million years ago and became dormant, 2240 meters above sea level, is the youngest of all the volcanoes in the country. (B/L/D)

Day 6 - Jargal Jiguur – 105km

After breakfast head towards Jargal Jiguur. Activities: Hiking around, enjoy the hot thermal area (B/L/D)

Day 7 - Khusvgul Lake – 240 km

After early breakfast head towards Khuvsgul, It will be a long drive. Visit to Reindeer Family, Lake relaxation, (B/L/D)

Day 8 - Uran Togoo Volcano – 400km

After breakfast drive to Uran Togoo Activity: Short hike, Sightseeing, Scenic drive through.

Day 9 - Amarbayasgalant Monastery – 220km

After breakfast start driving towards Amarbayasgalant monastery. The complex of Amarbayasgalant Monastery was built during 1727-1736, in the honour of Undur Gegeen Zanabazar, the first Bogd, Buddhist leader of Mongolia. Monastery tour (B/L/D)

Day 10 - Secret History Camp – 245km

After breakfast head towards Secret History Camp, Monastery visit, Sightseeing, (B/L/D)

Day 11 - Terelj National Park – 160km

Early morning drive to Terelj National Park. Farewell dinner. (B/L/D)

Day 12 - Departure

we will be transferred to airport so the breakfast will be take away. (B)
